I am in the workings with the Holiday Inn Express which happens to only be 10 min away from the Pub. They are getting us a Group rate PLUS free shuttle service to and from the Pub. If any of you are coming in from out of town, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel, We do have some located a little closer, but I would not let my worst enemy stay there lol. I will be posting the rates as soon as they are locked in. Also, I know it is a pain that we are not taking reservations, however we are bringing in extra tables and seating so NO ONE will be turned away. You might not get up close to the stage if you are not early, but just no that you will not be turned away. Hi, my name is Dean Calin. I'm principally involved with my vocal group, Bounding Main (http://www.boundingmain.com), but I am also an event organizer, web site consultant, erstwhile writer, former director and otherwise keep my hands in enough projects to keep ridiculously busy. I very much enjoy traveling across the US and Europe singing at maritime and tall ship festivals. We're recording songs for our fifth CD now and am working on lining up next year's international performance.

Bounding Main's performance of "Mingulay Boat Song" included in British Film Institute short movie, "Flotsam." Described as "A no budget romantic sci-fi short," Flotsam was written and directed by British Film Institute educational programmer Noel Goodwin. The story is about "A man ... remembers a day he spent on the Southbank with a girl he loved and lost." Noel has been sending the film around to festivals since the summer of this year and will not be available for public viewing until after it has been presented at those events. It was shown in October at the Raindance Film Festival in London.
