Sexual abuse is not only a traumatizing experience that leaves its victims in silence, but sadly, the offense is perpetrated by the most loved and respected leaders of the community, to include educators, family members and even religious authority figures.

They were a close nit family with strong ties to the church and the community. Sadly, within their nest of harmony dwells a sexual predator, Reverend Raymond, a spiritual leader and uncle whose acts of sexual misconduct with teenaged step daughters Dee Dee, Daffany, and their cousin Sade is later exposed by Daffany,and causes a great divide within the once warm, loving family. After Daffany outs Rev. Raymond, she’s convinced by her mother Lorraine and sister Dee Dee to keep quiet, and let the issue die down, but the long overdue offense must be addressed, and Sade answers the call, making it "Her Civil Duty” to speak to the misdeeds of a respected, well rounded religious leader .What was done in the dark, surfaces to light.
