When the moons align, the Purging begins.

SYNOPSIS:

Sarra is an alluring, yet naive, nineteen year old villager in an idyllic Bronze Age society. She lives on a mystical planet that has two moons.Her favorite pastime is breathing in the pollen of the euphoric Derrius flowers with her lover Jad. Peace loving and serene, Sarra is not ready for the carnage that lies ahead. Every seventeen years, when the moons align, a horrific event called The Purging takes place. One out of every twelve villagers turns into a beast (Ripper) for three days and tears apart any villager(Runner) they can find.
