Doctors would be well advised to heed your story and consider that they do not "know" anything really. Statistical probabilities are all well in good, but it is perhaps wise to set them aside for each and every patient and stand for what's possible. Thank you for having the willpower in the face of all that "knowing" to prove otherwise. I am saddened that the response was it was just luck that made the difference according to your doctors. I loved your music too Louis. An inspiring movie about the transformative power of music is Joyeaux Noel. It's based on a true story that occurred during World War One and powerfully demonstrates how music can totally reverse a dire and barbaric situation into one of beauty, connection and love. When I am feeling dispirited or unhappy about the difference my music makes in the world, remembering this movie's message always picks me up.
No, THANK YOU Louis. I just realized I misspelled the movie title (my little bit of French is rusty) It's "Joyeux Noel" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0424205/
Thank you :) Im looking forward watching it ! Keep in touch.
Hey Craig, I watched the movie yesterday. I really liked it - such a great movie, like most French movies ;) Thank you for your recommendation! And ou are so right with what you said about the movie in your recent comment :).
Hey Craig! Hope things are going well. Cheers

However, my all-time favorite film score is American Beauty by Thomas Newman - Everything from Newman's simplistic style to his unique orchestration and overall feel. I get chills simply listening to the cue "Any Other Name". So... what is your favorite score? Feel free to chime in with your favorite and please explain why.
I love the soundtrack to Sorceror. There's something beautiful about prog rock in the jungle rainfall.
Two leap to mind. Peter Gabriel's "Passion" and Ennio Morricone's "The Mission". I do love "American Beauty" too.
Yes nice ones! The more I search the more come up that I like.
