PITCH: “The Shade Rider Series” is a fantasy/ mystery in which an eleven-year-old hybrid-vigor girl, Nova, and her misfit friends struggle to figure out by using science what monsters are made of and finally get rid of them.

SYNOPSIS:

Nova shows how strong and different she is as she gets ready for school with her brother and sister. Meanwhile, in a cloud forest in the Legislative chambers, Ralf, Nova's father and Speaker of Ordin, watches and influences her through a viewing pool. Against Ralf's wishes Ahlon, Prime Minister, sends ghosts from the rainbow portal into the Bardsville Middle School. Ralf and Ahlon argue over Ahlon sending monsters to the Lower Echelons. The con-artists are taking advantage of the situation. Nova arrives at school on her bike and attacks a ghost that was harrassing the nurse for using science. The ghost says that no one is allowed to use science. The School Principal hires a psychic and shows him around the school. Ralf meets with the Three Mystics and gives them the job of finding a good mentor for Nova. The Mystics find Leandra, a detective, who makes citizen arrests of con-artists. Nova goes forward in time with Mystics and meets Leandra when she needs the mystical Neanderthal blood. This infuriates Ahlon. Nova goes back to school where Nova and her friends fight ghosts and figure out how to stop the ghosts. The kids confront the psychic and stop the ghosts by unplugging the fish bubbler on the science fish tank, which was creating a rainbow portal. Meanwhile in the Ordin Legislative chambers Ahlon tells Ralf and the Mystics to watch their backs. .
