By Steven Kirk

GENRE: Horror
LOGLINE:

When two 17-year-old girls take shelter from a storm inside a mysterious museum, an enigmatic curator leads them through three living exhibits, each one a living nightmare of guilt, grief, survival, and consequence.

SYNOPSIS:

Strangeworld is a feature-length horror anthology in the lacerated vein of Tales from the Crypt and Creepshow, unfolding inside Worlds of Wonder, a mysterious museum where two seventeen-year-old girls take shelter during a storm. Beyond the museum’s crimson curtains, the exhibits are not ordinary displays, but impossible frames that open onto other worlds. After moving through a series of disturbing attractions, the girls arrive at an exhibit marked Strangeworld, where an enigmatic Curator opens an old book and invites them to look deeper.

In Twilight Cinema, a damaged night watchman begins his first shift at a decaying old movie palace, only to discover that the theatre can expose the private horrors he is trying to escape.

In Regarding Angels, a lonely widower finds a traumatized young woman in an alley on Christmas Eve and gives her shelter, unaware that the mystery surrounding her is far more terrifying than he can imagine.

In Here, Kitty Kitty..., an Army lieutenant’s overnight shift at a remote military research lab becomes a fight for survival when a rare solar event drives the animals into a violent frenzy.

With each story, the young women are pulled deeper into Strangeworld’s living nightmares, where guilt, grief, mercy, survival, and consequence are not abstract ideas, but forces waiting on the other side of the frame.
