backstage.com has a really good website for that. Try your local extras agency as well!

You can also find some background work on actorsaccess.com and craigslist.com. the background work on craigslist is pretty much all non union though so keep that in mind. You can also find stuff on backstage.com and mandy.com but those sites cost money.
