Bob Corso

I am an established ASCAP songwriter turned screenwriter. I have been a contract writer for Capital, MCA/LHI, Mercury/Phillips, Mobil Fidelity, Megaphone and Claridge Records. and have had numerous songs recorded by major artist on the national Billboard charts.

My song, POOR SAM, turned into a screenplay, landed me my first professional screenwriting job on the NBC/Paramount network series "Sweepstakes". I was, at that time, hired by Milkis/Miller Productions who also optioned my script. It was a finalist in two major competitions and has to date been optioned 3 separate times, two majors and one indi.

My current feature film script, "Trapper "Boone" Dadley", co-written by Laura Corey, was a finalist in the 2013 "Final Draft - Big Break Screenwriting Competition". Top-ten percent of 6,669 entries world-wide, Top-three percent in the Comedy/RomCom catagory. In Oct. my original sit-com, "Sparkle & Shine", co-written by Laura Corey, was selected as an Official Finalist in the 2013 "World Series Of Screenwriting" One of ten scripts selected world-wide.

I am also an established character actor and have appeared in over 40 feature film, network series, or festival films. Am currently guest-starring in the new Sci-fi thriller "Identity", an independent feature film from Dreamworks FX veterans, the We3 Company. Release date = Summer 2014
