Zarey is a performer,a complete artist with experience in acting, singing and dancing , born in medellin Colombia immersed in the arts from a small age ,performing in schools , churches and any scenario she could be on .
At 13 years old wins a singing contest being the only girl child competing with adults in the bullring of Santamaria which has a capacity of 14,500 people singing :Cancion con todos from Mercedes Sosa .. an event organized by the Sena College, leaving viewers astonished .
Immediately focuses on private acting classes , theater workshops with different theater companies such as Barajas theatre group,parallel to this, she starts singing with trios, groups at parties and at many festivals .
At 15 years old inspired by the great (Colombian Salsa leyend)Joe Arroyo who sang and danced with her at her Quinceanera, started to focus more on singing, doing jingles and commercials for Astudillo Productions ,occasionally she was a special guest at the radio station Olympica Stereo invited by her friend Andres Lopera the music programmer , who immediately noticed her talent for changing voices and do different characters.
She studied theater in the best schools for acting in Colombia like Charlot and Estudio xxi of which he was a founder with a large group of rebel artists under the direction of the great Paco Barrero , an eminence in the arts and his wife the great actress Consuelo Moure two very beloved people in the artistic circle.
When she moved to America her life turned more towards music but never forgetting her roots and big influence that had on her all the carnivals and festivals of her homeland like the Latin American Theater Festival in Bogota being known as the theater city of the world .
She's been part of many tropical bands mostly in the states of Texas , Florida , California and New York . Worked touring in and outside the country with international orchestras such as the great Sonora Dinamita,directed by el maestro: Julio Ernesto Estrada ( Fruko ) from Fruko y su Tesos , Tito Puente Jr, Luis Felipe Gonzalez from Nelson y sus estrellas among others.
She has developed a natural instinct of what people liked, having worked as a DJ at different radio stations in Houston like:, Tropical 980, in RCN New York doing comercials , as a photographer in various companies like Saga Produccions in Miami and New york, as well as a reporter for the programs: La Luz De America Telemundo New York and New York Mexico TV ,demostrating her charisma in front and behind the cameras, handling the audience with great attitude ,good humor being tactful, she consideres herself as a people's person.
For her great passion for the Arts , her talent , charisma , personality, stage presence, humility and strong powerful voice, we believe and are sure that she's more than ready to start her solo career and ask for your support well deserved to this great artist auguring a great success in the market .
In a single word we could describe her as Fruko calls her: INTENSE !
