A lot of you know me, a lot of you have connected with me, many of you are great friends. I would like to make many more so feel free to send me a connection request, post on my wall, or message me. I’ve been writing for just over three years now and when I’m not making a nice steaming hot cup of tea I like to pen quite pulpy material featuring female leads. I must be okay at it as I’ve been fortunate enough to optioned five scripts now (three via Stage 32) while also being given assignments to work on. I’ve worked with producers, actors, and directors in London, LA, New Orleans, Atlanta, and only yesterday started working with a producer-director in Switzerland. Amazon Studios have been kind enough to highlight one of my feature scripts on their site and promote it via their Twitter and Facebook feeds. I joined Stage 32 back in November 2013, it’s been amazing. You can read about my experience here: http://cjwalley.com/Five-Reasons-Why-We-All-Need-to-Take-Stage-32-Very-S... I’ve also been lucky enough to voice my thoughts on the Stage 32 blog. Feel free to read and comment: https://www.stage32.com/blog?search=cj+walley I’m a big believer in focusing on what we can give over what we can get, so I offer a bunch of free to produce short scripts. These are ideal for filmmakers looking to gain some experience and build their portfolios. If you want to read my work then follow the link below, click on the script title that interests you and click View screenplay. If you can like the scripts that interests you then that will really help me decide which are worth developing further: https://www.stage32.com/profile/175728/scripts_screenplays I hope you all have a great weekend. For your dreams, baby!

Expand commentI agree @Fiona, I too love this long thread and I'm sure CJ will soon find the eye of the hurricane. @all I had a stale period of writing recently, stemming from rushing around, trying to find the right new people to pool my creative talents with and learn new technical skills. I was so drained from airport stops, and walking into different Indie groups as a "Stranger" aswell as sharing different digs that I had nothing left in my batteries for my characters. In fact I avoided my characters, because I didn't want to produce "stale or unworthy" writing. LOL In the same way I wouldn't want a friend to be around. However, I didn't avoid altogether, I found a rough book helpful to jot down any swift inspirational "glimmers" poking through the mist. This week I've been looking at my little daft sketches which I do to remind me of the feel of the scene, side by side with the couple of sentences I managed to get down on the page, on the day. It looks like a school kids rough book, BUT I've got several major scenes from the reminder, of the brief inspirations I had on bad days. @Shawn CJ is right, we need pioneers like yourself, who just go out and do whatever it takes to get something off the ground. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.......(Unforgettable Rap!).
CJ. fans are waiting for an update of your month. If The Cat snarls when you at computer, humour with a roast supper. Hope Feature going well.
Sweet update! Thanks for sharing - and - coming back to visit in the lounges on Stage 32!
Hi Spike, sure thing man, we are all fellow creatives and being connected is the way to go!
