"Girl Fight" meets "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days"
Although her aggressive nature strikes fear in the hearts of competitors, it wreaks havoc on this MMA trainer’s ability to find love.
SYNOPSIS:
Like every love-struck woman, Ronda yearns for her romantic fairy tale. She seeks a soulmate but why won't the man of her dreams fall in love with her by submission?
Love and Armbars, a rom-com feature where a female trainer and a comic book geek team up to turn each other into someone the opposite sex desires.
Ronda is the ultimate tomboy. Attractive, loves sports and physical activities. Comfortable hanging out with the guys. So, why can't she find a boyfriend? Maybe it's because she'll beat the crap out of anyone in when conflicts arise. Ronda is the one you want to have back in a fight. As for a relationship, she's as toxic as it gets.
Her dating disaster hits rock bottom when Ronda can't find a date for her BFF's wedding. Time for her to face reality, she will end up a lonely old maid.
Intervention needed. Ronda seeks guidance from Jonah, a comic bookstore owner whose engaging personality makes him a friend you can confide in, yet his scrawny physique keeps him in the friend's zone.
The duo make a deal. Jonah will turn Ronda's personality into something men desire while she will sculpt his body into a lean, mean sexy machine.
Training goes about as expected. Any given situation, Ronda acts like a bull in a china shop. Jonah's workouts cause muscles to ache in places where he never knew existed.
Progress made in baby steps. The friendship grows as Jonah and Ronda relate to each other's goals, fears and struggles. They push each another to become better versions of themselves.
Her high school crush returns to ask Ronda out for a weekend adventure of outdoor fun and romantic interludes, something she has dreamt about since a teenage girl.
Why does Ronda have an emotional breakdown minutes before the date starts? She doubts herself. Why would anyone want to be with her hot mess? How will she mess things up this time?
Jonah rushes to her rescue, delivers the confidence she needs. "Every guy dreams of spending time with a woman as special as you, Ronda." That puts her in the zone and ready to enjoy the best weekend of her romantic life.
Too bad the weekend ends with Ronda waking up alone the morning after. Her crush only wants a casual relationship. No baggage just physical attraction.
Ronda wants more. She deserves a commitment. Physical attraction is nice and all, but an emotional connection matters the most. She has that connection with Jonah.
Unfortunately, Ronda pushed Jonah away. How can she get him back in her life? She must tell him how much he means to her.
Time Ronda embraces her inner geekdom. Anime marathons and binge reading comic books. She walks in Jonah's shoes and loves every minute of it.
Reuniting with Jonah leads to a first kiss and a night he'll never forget. Ronda roleplays as a dominatrix. Not a romantic one, but the lady that inflicts pain and torture. Hopefully, Jonah makes it through the night without too many broken bones.

When a MMA trainer wins in the ring but loses in love, she seeks relationship help from an unlikely source, a comic book geek.
M - Main character - MMA trainer - possibly add one adjective to give us an impression.
I - incidting incident - gets served with divorce papers - or show what starts the new chapter in life.
G - Goal of protagonist - seeking help - not enough for a movie - show the path they need to take to overcome.
A - antagonist/conflict - loses in love - losses the love of his life
S - stakes - being alone, washed up, seeing his true love with another person
I like the fish outta water scenarios with the tough trainer dealing with love, and the comic book geek.
This sounds like a fun premise.
