SYNOPSIS:

The waitress Sarah Lancaster is suffering badly from the betrayal of her beloved. Accidentally, she has revealed the truth: Colin is engaged to another woman. She learns this when she meets them in the company of their friends. Having failed to commit suicide, Sarah now tries to return to her previous life but her plans will never come true. On her way to Pittsburgh where her parents live and who Sarah is going to visit, Sarah loses the way and finds herself at the house of the enigmatic Madame Stephanie, who holds pompous ball nights in her small house. Sarah happens to attend such a ball where she meets a handsome man, Cory, who, after a little while becomes her lover. When she leaves the house, she takes with her an old magic book which she has received as a gift from the mistress, Madame Stephanie. At that moment Sarah could not even imagine that from this moment on she will be tightly bound to the world of magic; it will deprive her of everything she has: her beauty, her youth, and her happiness while her life will become a battlefield where her kind soul fights with the evil that has penetrated Sarah with magic.
