Roetta -- great to connect with you. I'm in NYC often and if you are down in Bmore, look me up. Cheers!

Just pick one of the characters, and try to act like them and say their lines just like they do. It's actually a really great way to practice while you're at home. It might sound silly, but it's a lot harder than it sounds! Specially if you're watching something very dramatic, like The Walking Dead or Lost.
I call it re-enacting. I like to pause a show, commercial, movie, etc. & re-enact the scene. I don't try to 'mimic' the scene, I just recite the lines as I would actually say them if I were in that situation in real life. In other words, I put my own personality into it.

That's the only way to seperate yourself from the rest. Although Often times i watch tv and think I would have done this differently, or made a different choice and that's ok. It doesnt mean they are wrong or I am. There is no wrong choice for acting just one that the producers choose because they felt it worked better for them.
That's great advice, Dan. Thank you! =)
Hi Elisheba, Thanks for connecting. I'm originally from Detroit and go there often. Are you currently working on anything in Detroit? I would love to shoot my next web series in the Big D!
Great to connect with a fellow Detroiter, Roetta. Yes! We are doing big things here in the D. Be on the look out for our works. I look forward to networking together.

Birdy. Older Nic Cage / Matt Modine film. I’m assuming if you read the book it is based on, the ending wouldn’t be surprising, but it knocked me for a loop.
