I already have. I like your music...
Thanks! :)
I'm curious to know how many screenwriters out there have listed their scripts on sites such as The Blacklist and Inktip.com.

I like that they provide screenwriting tips, and have exercises to help develop your writing skill. These are only a few or the many things that the Blacklist offers.

A recent NYU Film Grad with $150k to make a movie?) Upside of Black List: They'll rank your script, so if it's very very good, you'll get more prominent placement. If your script isn't very very good, this is, of course, not an upside. :) Tie breaker for me: I've sold through InkTip, reaped money and credits, and formed actual relationships with producers. So I'm an InkTip man. Your mileage may, of course, vary.
On The Blacklist, do you just post and wait, or do you ask your friends who are members to read your script?

Expand postAs a non-Hollywood person (in fact someone who works in the fast-paced world of cancer medicine), I find this non-committal attitude extremely frustrating. I understand that my industry is unique, and we have to make fast decisions and live with consequences. And I'm grateful for the opportunity for a novice such as myself to be able to pitch to execs. But overall, non-answers are, for me, a waste of everyone's time and energy. If someone doesn't like my writing, that's OK. Just say so. If you don't have time to read a script. That's OK, just say so. The Hollywood 'I'll get back to you in two weeks, turns out to be two months.' Straight shootin' is preferable to me. And this is coming from an Englishman - we perfected the art of disguising everything with vague politeness. (FYI, if an English person says 'Mhmm, that's nice'. It's not. Trust me.)
I would hardly say it's purely your issue, G. It's just the nature of the biz. Not entirely unreasonable to hold people to what they say they are going to do. Just less reasonable in this industry.

I believe God calls that "The A List..." And, so do we.
Hello fellow Coloradan! Thank you for the invite. Do you have any contacts for script submissions? Aloha from Parker!
Hi Pamela, Yes, a few. But, I guard them carefully and screen anything I would open to them. If you have something you'd like to submit, I would be happy to sign a non-disclosure for you and review it. Hope this helps... Best wishes, - Gus
