A free-spirited young woman flits between towns to paint the most
beautiful, elaborate holiday murals, until she meets the art supply
dealer who shows her the true meaning of home, just as she helps him
unclip his own self-imposed artistic wings.
SYNOPSIS:
Tara, a free-spirited
young woman, flits from town to town painting the most elaborate holiday
window murals. But her carefree lifestyle belies a hidden ache
springing from her childhood as an ‘Army brat’, as her Dad was stationed
from post to post, uprooting Tara from one home after another.
Her current seasonal work is Christmas and Tara needs art supplies for
her next charming and picturesque project. The local art supply dealer,
Shane, is fascinated by her work around town. In particular, he doesn’t
understand the transient quality of such beauty - that will be scraped
away after just a few short weeks. This puzzles Shane who has lived his
whole life where constancy means everything – exemplified by the last
year as his mother’s primary caregiver in her cancer battle.
When Shane visits this mysterious artist at her mobile home in an RV
park he is intrigued. Shane introduces Tara to his town and she begins
to understand the appeal of community – something she has never before
experienced.
An accident with a ladder leaves Tara unable to complete her client
orders. Shane suggests they switch places, having Tara look after his
store while he finishes the art displays. This means that Tara has to
step into his shoes as the community’s tree trimming organizer throwing
her into close contact with many of the town’s colorful characters.
This ‘happy accident’ and Tara’s artistic soul lights up Shane with a
new sense of freedom allowing him to explore his own creative
expressions, while Tara discovers how ties and roots can enrich her
life.
