After the sudden and absurd death of their egotistical host, a ragtag group of podcasters must scramble to save their struggling show—only to discover it was secretly a goldmine, saddled with massive debt. Now, they’ll do whatever it takes to keep their dream (and bank accounts) alive.

SYNOPSIS:

Andy, Lewis, Dan, Charlie, and Benson are the dysfunctional but dedicated crew behind The GameboiZ podcast, begrudgingly led by their egotistical and crypto-obsessed host, Harry. When Harry accidentally blows himself up with a live grenade during an airsoft game, the guys barely make it through his bizarre funeral before learning they’ve inherited the podcast studio—along with £75,000 in debt.

Faced with losing the brand and years of work, the group scrambles for a way to save the show. Benson tries (and fails) to borrow money from his parents, Charlie’s misguided “bikini car wash” scheme lands him in jail, and an ill-fated gaming tournament ends in an embarrassing first-round knockout. Meanwhile, Andy attempts to sell his long-abandoned video game to an old boss, only to realize he's been played—again.

With time running out, Andy takes a desperate gamble: mortgaging his apartment to save The GameboiZ. As they return to the studio—poorer but determined—the group embraces their new reality: a fresh start, a new host, and a renewed sense of purpose. The episode closes with their first broadcast back on air, proving that even without Harry, they might just be onto something great.
