Bonjour Israel! VO talent bilingual in French. I'm melty....http://www.danaramseyabram.com Thank you for listening! Dana Abram
Hi! I'm an actress and filmmaker. Recently acted in two features and I'm in post on two short films I wrote/produced/directed. One of them is proof of concept for a feature and I've got 5 more screenplays I'm in some stage of development on. I like to stay busy, obviously, on my own projects ... or yours, perhaps?
I love this: multi-hyphenate... I'm thinking I may have to do the same!
I can add my double last name .... Dana Ramsey Abram, bilingual/copywriter/voice director/voice over artist/translator !!!!
You seem vaguely familiar... :)

Voice Over, ADR, Looping and post production sound is important to any film project. Take a look at a project I was recently involved in with Definite Films, NY - and also did the Voice Over. Enjoy!! http://youtu.be/wvORES5KHkk
Updating my demo and curious if you really need a different vo demo for every genre.

I need to know how the sound as a characters. I just figure the people with commercial only demos aren't interested in narrating books--it is a large time commitment, but then I wonder why they put demos on a site specifically for audiobooks.
Yes, it is important if you want to sell your sound for the particular genre. As Mary McDonald said.
Mary, could I send you a voice demo I have with several voice samples on it to get your opinion?
Hello all lovely VO actors! Just wondering if anyone knew of any good sources for commercial copy/scripts to practise with? I've scoured online but there are so many sites that require payment etc. If anyone wants to share the love, please comment below for others to benefit as well. Love from London Taya De La Cruz
Bruce, that link is awesome. Thank you for sharing it.

MY DAD was a Key Grip, JTR - John Thomas Ramsey - Tom Ramsey - His first flic: EASY RIDER, his last flic: THE TITANTIC. He introduced the "apple crate" and "the elevated moon tent" for night time shots. HE worked with the best and the worst. Got a director fired and shot a gun at an Executive Producer....a real gun. It was just a warning shot.....on a closed set. He was my hero. I am proud to say I'm a grips daughter. Dana Ramsey Abram

But I was a wee tot then.....When he worked on 'Beauty and the Beast' TV series with Ron Perlman, he made a giant litter box and scratching post for him as a joke. Both were outside of his trailer. He always insisted Kraft services supplied Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches throughout the day. So the next time you get a PB&J on set, think of my dad, JTR.
Dana, thank you for sharing. I will never eat another PB&J sandwich without thinking of your father!
What a true character! (and we all love character!)
Nice to connect with you Simone.!

As a francophone and avid francophile, I can just hear the conversation - accents and all! With the love-hate relationship we continually have with all that is French - this story would make a great screenplay in and of itself! Keep the stories coming!! S'il vous plait! Merci!
The French DVD of "Otage", has beaucoup bonus footage and interviews with many of the "characters" detailed in the coming instalments of WRITER HELD HOSTAGE.

(he carried a handgun on location, never knew if he'd come across a snake....). The said Producer was trying to sneak a peak at the closed set of the nude swimming scene! And a French friend asked me if I like the female american singer Em-ee-loo-a-ree....
