Advice for a guy with a movie idea and a day job

Hi. I'm Bob and honestly, I don't work in the film industry at all. I hope I am not inappropriately inviting myself to the party. I had an idea for a movie (who hasn't?) years ago and have written a mix of dialogue and summary across 35 pages. I'm at a cross roads on how to take from 35 pages of som...

A few weeks ago, I posted a job opening for a co-writer for a movie I'm producing. I had a tremendous response. This could be because this movie is actually going to be made... I've worked hard to put...

if you were doing more eastern style like bar room brawl and european my husband would be the man for you. he uses the environment like jackie chan does, just less kung fu, and more brute like you would see on game of thrones.

sorry for the delayed response. Just came back from vacation! YAY! Hayley, I will keep that in mind for the bar fights. I am looking for martial art styles though. Thank you! Bob, I am shooting around september so I do have enough time to find people. Thank you!

Licensing Music

I have emailed the music compaines to negotiate a license to use the music in my film. They do not respond to my emails, two companies are in France. I have made a good faith effor...

Rachel Miranda Jones thanks for your follow up. Most of the participants here were reasoned and respectful, Ms. Segretti was the only one who attempted to humiliate me. Her remarks are hypersensitive,...

Always, always put the C and the date on your movie. George Romero's Night of the Living Dead is THE example of what can go wrong if you don't. It was released without the Copyright marker, and was in...
