My biggest fail so far is just getting someone to take notice of what I write. I know, I know--it's everyone's big fail, so what's new? (And doesn't this sound whiny?) Anyway, I write several different types of stories, from novels to flash fiction in various genres. I admit, I love a good mystery. When I have gotten noticed, I've won awards or made the finals in different judgings and contests.

Hello, everyone-- It's great to be part of this community. My name is Mark Reasoner and I live and write in Neptune Beach, Florida. That's just to Jacksonville and it's sunny and seventies today. No clouds and no worries. So good to be coming out of winter. I am a novelist with one published (ONE LAST KICKOFF--2014) and several stories published in anthologies. I also have two completed YA/Middle Grade novels looking for homes. (Agents, publishers, interested teenagers, etc.) I'm also interested in Television writing--and heading over to Happy Writers just as soon as I'm done here. Hello everyone. I'm an award winning fiction writer from Neptune Beach, Florida, with one published novel and two completed ones being edited and looking for publication. All might make excellent film projects, and I'm interested in screenwriting as well as story writing. My first novel--ONE LAST KICKOFF, available at Amazon or from local booksellers--is a football story about a player at the end of his career, though he's the only one who doesn't know it. My second is a Christmas story, which just won a second place in category at the Florida Writers Association Royal Palm Literary Awards. My third is a YA/Middle Grade story of two kids finding a dead body and solving a fifty-year old mystery. I look forward to being part of this community and working with/talking with all of you.

I know outlining helps writers and many writers recommend it. The problem is that my brain works like a movie projector. The movie needs to play in my mind first with my eyes closed from beginning to finish. I am the audience. I write what I see. When I stare the outline board, I just sit like a zombie, is there a way to break through the process?
