Hi, I'm Chris. I have an 80s-style horror script inspired by a classic children's fairy tale, but this would be a hard R. Think PSYCHO meets THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE with a touch of NIGHT OF THE HUNTER. Any advice or recommendations?

It sounds like a good film, but it seems like slashers get a little less play today then other horror sub-genres, usually getting made on the lower budget end. Might be a marketing angle if you can claim it's a cheap film to make (easier returns).
We need people who push the boundaries of stage and film. This is where the classics come from.
