A bored waitress in a seedy rural diner befriends an enigmatic drifter who causes her to question the meaning of life and they both jump on a Greyhound bus in pursuit of a man with a briefcase. 

SYNOPSIS:

A trailer park girl in 1999 is a waitress at a roadside stop off and has come to terms she will never get a ticket out of her dull life, so spends her time in the alternate world of books. One day a drifter passes through who realizes the person serving her freebies is hiding behind a much wider intellect. And guess what? She ain't what she seems either. Far from being a down and out, she is in fact an underworld vixen who has clocked a large cash sting is soon to take place and interrupts the crooks robbing their mark. There is a saying in life, "It takes one to know one," and after outwitting the hoods on the highway she needs to persuade the waitress to join her on the road. She offers her two choices, stay put or jump ship to become her side kick in her next con in a big Atlanta hotel. Banal security of abject poverty or run with the hare and hunt with the hounds, after the turn of one card the two women embark on a road trip to a new life. Pursued by international crime lords who did not take kindly to being shown up by women, they are chased across state for reasons just as personal as is monetary. Despite being viewed as lowly to those who never think beyond what they see, the two bold characters take on the world, executing a reaction to each action dealt them in their very own unique way.
