Friends, which is the best place to register one's script? As a publisher myself, I have the ISBN (International Book Serial Number), but I also want to register my script at the most appropriate place. I am from India. Is it WGA? Kindly help.
Yeah, US copyright registration is better than the WGA. Doesn't expire, and any buyers would probably want to see an official copyright.
At $35 per script, it is worth every penny!
+1 for copyright.gov
A feature Film script. I have the ideas ready to go just need a screenwriter to help me piece it together.
I'll help.
I will be able to help you, with the correct Vogler or Snyder beat sheet, Sachin.
@ Guy -- I hear you! There are many good ideas waiting for the professional writer who has the talent and know-how to "bring it home." Will the person with the good idea be willing to pay upfront (as in, leave a $5,000 deposit)? I guess we'll hear more. :-D
Friends, I read about a U.S. $ 60/- script reader. Can anyone enlighten me on his name, email ID etc.? Or any good and cheap Script reader?
Thanks to Paul, Reigh and Ben for their constructive comments.
ya get what ya pay for.. ;-)
Danny, I hope to reach you one day- but I have first to reach that level! English is not my first language.

My screenplay has been requested by CAA. The best Boxing Day e-mail I have ever received. A gift-wrapped beauty from the team at Stage 32.
Good news, James, congratulations!
So awesome! Congrats!
Absolutely Great News...

Expand commentI submitted a video pitch via Greenlight. The first company I submitted to never replied, so Greenlight gave me a free replacement pitch. I submitted it and the company passed. So yes, Greenlight is credible in that if you submit to a company, someone will view your pitch and respond (or you'll get a replacement pitch). Whether it is the best method out there is hard to say. It's hard to know what to do these days.

Thanks a lot, James.
On that platform, greenlight. I sent a four minute general information than a pitch on video, so they will know about me and my persona. The logline and synopsis is already typed. Why do I need to explain on video if I already have it typed in the profile website.
