SYNOPSIS:

Malina has just endured a devastating loss and struggles with moving forward with her life. She begins hearing voices. Off to find out what is happening to her and why, she consults with her family Psychiatrist, Dr. Faulkner, who prescribes medicine to help control her anxiety. Two years later, on the anniversary of her mother’s death, Malina wakes up in a panic. While rushing off to an interview, she begins to hear voices again. Quickly, she discovers that she hasn’t taken her medicine in 2 days and now, can’t find her pills. The voices are becoming more profound and clearer. For the first time, Malina understands that her medicine is suppressing her ability to hear and understand these voices. In the process of weaning herself off her medication, Malina reunites with her long lost childhood friend, Kate, only to travel down a spiraling road of lies, sex tracking, and murder. Malina discovers that she has 48 hours to accept her gift and help free the captured girls from Dr. Faulkner’s twisted entrapment scheme.
