About Suzan

SUZAN CROWLEY began acting with The National Youth Theatre Great Britain, thenceforth to study at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She has since appeared in London’s West End in Under The Greenwood Tree, Sugar Dollies and The Heidi Chronicles and in repertory theatre throughout the UK. In LA, her theatre appearances include Macbeth, Hamlet, Phaedra, Clue, It’s A Wonderful Life and the one woman show St Valentine’s Day Masochism. Suzan’s extensive film work includes The Devil Inside, The Draughtsman’s Contract, Success is The Best Revenge and Born of Fire.
Amongst numerous TV appearances she was a series regular on The Knock, BackUp, Devices & Desires, Bergerac & Dennis Potter’s Christabel, and appearances in All of Us and Liz & Dick. In 2009 Suzan produced the feature Wild About Harry which won Best of Fest at Palm Springs International Film Festival and in 2013 Suzan won an AudioFIle Earphone Award for narrating Mademoiselle Boleyn. She is very proud to mentor with BAFTA and The Inner City Shakespeare Ensemble. Suzan lives in LA with husband and fellow actor Tony Armatrading.

Could there be a better weekend to see Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus? Not only is it Halloween weekend, we'll be performing in two different venues!

Doctor Faustus is a celebrated man whose intelligence is only eclipsed by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and power. This quest leads him to a dangerous bargain: he sells his soul to Lucifer for the power to practice the Dark Arts. With Mephistopheles at his side, he becomes a globe-trotting, thrill-seeking celebrity.

With a cast of characters that includes Helen of Troy, the Pope, and all Seven Deadly Sins, Christopher Marlowe’s play is sexy, funny, and as relevant as it was when he wrote it 425 years ago. Because of the appearance of demons, this production may not be suitable for younger viewers.
