Once upon a time I worked for The Man. Three years ago he laid me off, effectively saving my life. Since then I have met my film family, wrote and directed three short films, produced and worked on several more, spent long unpaid hours on set having a blast with insanely talented people who helped us stockpile festival awards, and traveled to both coasts where I met both famous actors and inspirational peers from all over the planet. There has never been a better time to be a filmmaker and I am excited to help Scallywag take its place in the global film community.
