Possibly the last humans stranded in an Antarctic Research base - can they save the species against the odds.

SYNOPSIS:

Imagine being stranded a research station surrounded thousands of kilometres of ice. The sun will not return for another six months. This is where Jennifer, Lars and Bertram, researchers over-wintering at the station, find themselves. Their communications link to the outside world becomes intermittently faulty. Then Jennifer announces she is pregnant. The supply ship RSS Shackleton has recently left them to head home. There is a mutiny on board. The ruthless Hansen relinquishes Captain Jones of his command and plans to return to the research station instead of heading home, to potential Armageddon. And while all this is happening the former base commander Fiskler treks his way in blizzard conditions to get back to the station – he has made an absolutely startling discover about the Ice Shelf and he needs to get back immediately. What he has to tell the others could change the course of humanity and may even save it. Think The Abyss meets The Day After Tomorrow meets Sunshine.
