SYNOPSIS:

There's been a horrific murder that's shocked the citizens of Pickenhole County, South Carolina. A man went crazy and shot and killed his family. It'll be straight to the electric chair with the man, unless sheriff's deputy, Cathleen "Catfish" Collins can prove that he was under the influence of a hex. It seems that a witchdoctor is operating in the county and using his powers of African root magic to influence malicious and murderous acts. With the help of an ex-sheriff and retired witchdoctor, Catfish hunts the evil witchdoctor in the coastal swamps of South Carolina by his alias, Dr. Piranha, but she too falls victim to the mysterious black magic known as "the root".
