The Big Band Theory - Spec Script

(Based on the very first episode of The Big Bang Theory)

Penny is ambushed by an official looking man who refers to her as "Penny # 42077" and informs her that the "Egg" she sold (to pay the rent) at a fertility clinic years ago, is now a living, breathing, child, who is as of today her responsibility.

He leaves the child at her door as he steps across the hall, led by his official looking papers, to find the male sperm donor/father, one "Sheldon 613A.

Although he protests the absurdity of the situation through out this episode, Sheldon slowly warms to the idea that this young, very annoying, genius may just be his child.

More comedy mounts when Howard confesses to having used Sheldon's discarded application from the sperm bank in order to keep the embarrassing act of his "donation" from his mother.

Leonard is stressed to his limits with the paternity of his wife's child dancing from one unacceptable answer to the next.

Ultimately the fatherhood of this "Shedonic Protégé" is discovered to be someone of an even greater plot twist. Who can it be?

This genetic conundrum spells comedy with a capital D.N.and A!
