When rock-n-roll hating aliens come to Earth to "cleanse" the universe of bad music, The Beggars, a small time garage band must survive the biggest "Battle of the Bands" ever, in order to save the planet.

Brothers Luke and Johnny Martin are in a small time garage band (The Beggars) dreaming of big time riches and fame but not really being very good as a band.

Unbeknownst to them, Rock and Roll hating aliens from a distant galaxy are on their way to Earth to exterminate the whole planet due to the "vermin" who in their opinion are polluting the universe with bad music.

The story begins with the aliens arriving at the planet after a long trip. Upon their arrival they realize they have forgotten to load their main weapon which they had planned to use to destroy the whole planet.

They must now settle on exacting a revenge of sorts on a few musicians since they came all this way and can not fulfill their mission.

Not quite knowing how to interact face to face with earthlings, who they just assumed they would kill all at once, they must devise a plan to attract as many musicians as they can to one specific location in order to kill as many as possible with what few weapons they have at their disposal.

They search through old video signals in their files and end up seeing footage of the Woodstock concert which gives them the idea to hold a battle of the bands contest. They are delighted to find that their excrement is in high demand on this crazy planet because they basically crap 14K gold.

Using the gold as a lure to the local music scene they hatch a scheme to hold the contest out of town at a farm.

Of course Johnny, Luke, and their fellow band mates join all the other local bands in this far fetched quest for fame and fortune.

The comedy throughout is pretty tongue in cheek as references to many Sci-Fi icons are made.

Will the aliens succeed in their primary mission to quiet our noisy little planet and cleanse the universe of bad music? Will the bands discover the alien plot to kill them in time to save their own skin? And who will win all that golden poop?

This is a fun Sci-Fi romp through the inner workings of the world of local teenage garage bands with all the trimmings of sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll and we tossed in aliens just to make it that much more irresistible!
