Six year old Andrea is going to meet her grandfather for the first time and feeling out of place. He tells her that a huge oak tree in his front yard is infested with Wishing Elves. They are elves that grant wishes to special children. She spends the rest of her visit looking for the elves. But, in the end, it's her grandfather that needs a wish granted when a car accident nearly takes the life of his granddaughter.
