I'd watch that. Being an ex cop myself I'm interested to see how that plays out and what screen writing techniques you use.

Timely theme with the country raging over police brutality issues. A one room set sounds more like a play, unless replete with flashbacks (like The Usual Suspects). The logline could be condensed into one sentence, perhaps: ‘Two cops searching for a killer rough up a suspect who drives wedge between them in a lethal psychological battle.’

I was looking for a link to read "Hostage". I really like a good cop story ever since I read my first Joseph Wambaugh book. The Black Marble I think is was. I am new to STAGE 32 so am just learning how to navigate my way around. Look forward to hearing from you.

The fact that the criminal is able to make the cops doubt each other, the truth, and who will survive the encounter suggests that this is a psychological thriller to me at least. This genre is often very popular with audiences, including myself as I not into horrors, but thriller such as this make me think. The logline generates interest in the story.
