By Fredrick Dever

GENRE: Thriller
LOGLINE:

Luck changes drastically for an agoraphobic serial killer after his trained dog fetches his thirteenth victim.

SYNOPSIS:

The news on Sebastian's TV reports on the twelve women who have been murdered and found near a shipyard. Another report covers several cat owners around the area who have been found dead in their homes.

Sebastian, a distinguished gentleman, has trained his dog Scout to get lost in the neighborhood. When unsuspecting and sympathetic women return him, they find themselves at the mercy of a sought after rapist and serial killer.

Cherry, a well loved, young cat loving hipster, uses her spare time to track down lost cats in the same neighborhood via lost pet flyers from her local coffee shop. While looking at a new flyer, she sees a lost dog and decides to return him. Once inside Sebastian's condo with Scout, she notices that his condo is under personal surveillance. She is disturbed to find out that he hates cats. She senses danger and declines a glass of water that is offered and decides to do what she does best, stab him with her 12 inch knife that she has concealed in her bag. Sebastian falls to the floor dead with eyes wide open. Scout drinks the spilled and tainted water and immediately falls asleep next to him.

She notices 12 video tapes near his TV. She ejects the recording tape #13 and places it in her bag. She inserts tape #12 and discovers that Sebastian records his rapes and murders. She then pulls out the latest cat flyer and calls to inform the owner that she has found their beloved cat, knowing the cat in the flyer has already been killed by a car she witnessed earlier. She sets a time to visit, and then is off on her merry way.

Sebastian blinks.
