SYNOPSIS:

The Ties That Bind Us was my senior thesis for SUNY Purchase.It is the story of a young woman, Anna, in her senior year in high school who is forced take care of her family after her mother falls apart. She struggles with going to school, working to help support her family, remaining on the softball team all while trying to maintain a relationship with her boyfriend. Anna gets offered a scholarship for a college education and must decide if she will take the offer and leave everything behind or stay and give everything up.
