A light-hearted look at stage staff and the problems they face during rehearsals of a musical drama at a provincial multi-purpose theater
SYNOPSIS:
A group of stage hands led by a frustrated Stage Manager who rolls her own cigarettes and wants to retire are setting up a musical drama. The Artistic Director lives in a world of his own and is set to marry his partner, the theater manager. Nothing ever seems to go right when Tanner is around, a lad from the EastEnd who is an expert on running flats and dating girls. Louise (legs) daddy drives a Rolls and she is keeping Tanner at bay while she rehearses for a talent show hosted by Simon Cowell. The lads look to Lennie, the gang boss who spends a lot of time keeping Tanner out of trouble. However, the show always ends up alright on the night.
My first attempt and finding it a great release from working on a novel. Will post the script when it is finished. I need feedback no matter how it comes. Thanks.
