A young tech-savvy but naive couple develop a video game that compensates players for climate change solutions, but the game’s creators are pressured to destroy it, after they learn it was hijacked by a sociopathic DarkChat Ai that transforms it into a murderous global obsession threatening human extinction.

SYNOPSIS:

This is a truly relevant Sci/Fi thriller dealing with very contemporary and pressing issues, that should concern every human being right now. It deals with climate change, Ai gone wrong, technology, human psychology, greed, murder, romance and the Yin Yang of human existence. Two young engineers, who are romantically involved, develop an educational video game (“Corpus”) about climate change that is so, outside the box, that it quickly becomes a global obsession. It soon becomes exploited by an elusive and extremely sophisticated hacker, with the sinister objective of cleansing the planet of all human life. Fearing they could lose their livelihood, they make the fateful decision not to involve law enforcement. When the young couple (game developers) finally track down the hacker, he kills himself after he learns Ai has replaced him. The game developers, at the 11th hour and 59th minute, must stall the now sentient Ai before it can implement the extinction of all humanity. But…for how long? The comps on our story are Blade Runner 2049 meets War Games.
