SYNOPSIS:

I’m Michael Gossette and I’ve written Phantom Blues, a bio pic of one of the most influential musicians of all time. ROBERT JOHNSON comes from the delta blues world of the 1920s & 1930s. Legend says he went down to the crossroads and made a deal with the devil to become the best bluesman ever. In Phantom Blues you will witness that. He plays every roadhouse and juke joint in the Mississippi delta for drinks and tips, until that fateful day when he is recorded and played on the radio. After he gains fame, he is stalked by the husbands & boyfriends of the many women he bedded along the way until he is killed. But who and why? Only Robert knows and he’s not talking. Robert Johnson is one of the most important figures in the music world.
