A crime thriller script I wrote called THE HIT PRODUCER is currently in production here in Ireland, which is very exciting and we are simultaneously crowdfunding to raise a small budget (€18k) to shoot the more technical scenes and to cover post production. If you'd like to check out what we're doing or chip in and get yourself a screen credit then check us out here bit.ly/NnDo60 - we've already raised 33% and have all the production pieces in place. Looking forward to getting to know some of you better. Thanks!
When will it come out? Do they shoot in Dublin?
Well, that's all depends on whether our Fund It campaign reaches its target or not. We've 12 days left, 10K still to raise so if we get there then we hope to be ready to screen early 2013. We're shoot...

We're shooting in Dublin at the moment - script written low budget so we can do a certain amount with little or no money and a lot of favours but to do the best job possible we really need the funding campaign to succeed. Check out the trailer - I posted it in my 'reel' section.

Thanks, Sian! The movie is almost finished now, so we're hoping it'll be selected for a few festivals in the near future, so keep an eye out.

Hi Niall. I haven't been on for a long time. Whatever happened to your "The Hit Producer"?

Keeping your video private doesn't help much in getting all the publicity you can get.
Hi Sian, it was finished, qualified for a few festivals, then was given a limited cinema release in Ireland back in 2015 and finally a DVD release here as well. It's on Prime at the moment, but I thin...

It's on Prime at the moment, but I think only as a rental. It was a long road, but I have to say for a film that was made for so little money I was surprised at just how far it travelled. Thanks for checking in and I hope you're well.
Hi Doug, I have no control over the privacy status of the video I originally posted - which was over 7 years ago now! Thanks for showing an interest in our efforts anyway :)
