STEP 9 is a half hour drama about a mixed-race (South-Asian, African-American) woman, INDIA MADDOX, 25,who graduates from a treatment center where she spent the past 13 months and returns to complete her College degree in Journalism. Working through challenges of an eating disorder, body image, and race identity, India learns that recovery is a life-long process with no guarantees.
