Evan I. Schwartz is an author, screenwriter, and producer who tells stories about the human imagination.
He is the author of the historical narratives FINDING OZ (HoughtonMifflin) and THE LAST LONE INVENTOR (HarperCollins) as well as REVOLVER: a novel (Concord Free Press). His docs have appeared on PBS American Experience, NOVA, Netflix, and Showtime.
His limited series pilot OTOPIA is a top-listed script on The Black List, a semi-finalist for Final Draft's Big Break, and has advanced towards the 2023 Unique Voices prize.
His screenplays have also been awarded a Sloan/Tribeca Film Grant, a Hamptons Film Festival Fellowship; and placed as a Semi-Finalist for the Humanitas New Voices Fellowship.
