Karan Lineswala

My name is Karan Lineswala. I was born in India and grew up in the United States. Migrating to America during the impressionable years of my childhood weighs heavily on my perspectives toward life. Coming from a small town in India, I carry a distinctive experience of living two lives that are vastly different in values, culture, and possibly every aspect of life. This wide range of cultural upbringing has shaped me to be confident and fearless in raising my voice.
After receiving an MFA in Film and TV, I decided to move to LA to pursue my dream. My past works have received many accolades across the nation. One of my short films named A Crying Doll was selected and won the Best Fiction Short from the 8th Annual Flamingo Film Festival 2021. Becoming a filmmaker requires being attentive to details, having clarity in thoughts, and being well-organized. I believe I am on the quest to perfect those skills and surely will succeed.
