Born George David Hellas III on March 1, 1976, in Bluefield, West Virginia. He is the son of Dee Dee Meade, lab phlebotomist, and the late George David Hellas Jr., a coal miner. George was the second of their two children with an older sister, Robin. His ancestry is Irish, Scottish and Greek. He is an actor and is best known for Hog's Tooth, Manifestation and Last Cigarette.
George grew up in a small town in Virginia and following high school joined the Marine Corps. After his service he started his acting career at the Highland Theatrical Company in Johnson City, TN. He moved to Los Angeles in 2009 where he extensively studied the Meisner Technique with Willam Alderson. Mr. Alderson was trained by Sanford Meisner and taught along side him at the Neighborhood Playhouse Professional School of the Theatre in New York City. William Alderson was the school's Associate Director for 20 years. His Los Angeles studio was formed in 1992.
Through his career George has been the lead in multiple theatre productions and has booked small roles in film and television. One of the small roles was as a scout sniper in Hog's Tooth, an official short film selection at the 67th Cannes Film Festival. He is a police officer and brings his varied life experiences to his acting.
