Series Synopsis
We follow RJ, a free-spirited community leader, as she travels to the Century estate in D.C, to
take her place in her estranged father’s firm. She tries to navigate between her duties as a
community leader and her newly found status at Century. However, things are not as easy as
she hoped. Century is traditional, often defending the elite, while she is an active voice for the
people. She starts to question her own morals as she learns what it truly takes to change the
community.
Meanwhile, the rival family, the McElveen's, are slowly running a smear campaign against
Century while placing golden child Zola McElveen front and center in the district office. She is
everything the elite represents, but when she meets RJ, she slowly falls for her and thus begins
her downfall.
Episode 1
Pilot Summary: RJ finds herself in the middle of family drama, as she attends dinner at the
Century estate after her father’s death. Bea plots to drive RJ out of the picture. Zola sets her
eyes on a position at the district office. Cyndi tries to juggle her first case as she comes back
from rehab. A shocking discovery puts Ezekiel in a tight corner.
