An American spy leads a group of inept Drug Enforcement agents on a covert mission in Nigeria, risking his life in an effort to catch the leader of a crime syndicate suspected in a revenge-driven murder of a corrupt U.S. Congressman.

SYNOPSIS:

The book opens with DEA, AGENT WALLACE, PEREZ, BLOOMBERG, PERKINS and LANG, both men in twenties and thirties boarding the plan from NEW YORK CITY to Bogota, Columbia with their captain, AGENT ROGERS, 42 to assist the COLUMBIA DRUG FORCES in capturing OSCAR LUCAS, 30s a drug lord that has been supplying drugs to the United States. Few minutes later, they arrived at BOGOTA, COLUMBIA and were greeted by the Columbia Drug Forces. While at the airport, the drug forces continue to monitor Lucas’s conversation through high-tech surveillance equipment.

Two hours later, the DEA and Columbia Drug Forces teamed up in covert raid near Lucas mansion. Lucas is seen inside having a party celebration with family and friends. One of the Columbia Drug Forces picked up binoculars and looks through and spots two of Lucas’s bodyguards with their rifles patrolling the compound. Meanwhile Agent Rogers and his team are seen from the distance covertly creeping inside Lucas compound. Another Lucas’s bodyguards at the guard house notices a movement on the ultra surveillance screen he picks up his radio and yells, “Pigs on the ground”. All the guards grab their guns and rifles ready for combat. The battle ensues between DEA, Columbia Drug Forces and Lucas bodyguards. Lucas and two of his bodyguards overhear the shooting from the inside the house, he immediately advices his wife to take the kids into hiding. Lucas rushes to his cabinet, where he hides all his guns. He grabs an M-16A rifle and heads outside with two of his bodyguards. Agent Rogers spot Lucas with two of his bodyguards as they slip outside to engage them. Unfortunately, the Columbia Drug Forces surround Lucas and open fire, shooting and killing Lucas and two of his bodyguards. Lucas brother, GABRIEL LUCAS,20 emerges from the rooftop with his rifle. Agent Rogers spots Gabriel and signal his team through his headphones, “One suspect is exiting the rooftop”. Agent Perez responds “Roger that”. He slips from behind and kills Gabriel.

Back in New York City at the DEA Office, Agent Rogers enters the debriefing room and start scrutinizing their raid in Columbia. He pulls out a chair and stands at the head of table to congratulate his men the job well done. At the same time detailing other events about a report his receives from Custom Officers in New York about another influx of heroin making its way back into the United States by way of Nigeria Nationals. Agent Rogers made vow to find them wherever they are.

LAGOS, NIGERIA. HAKEEM ABIMBOLA, a con artist in his 30s and a son of the Nigerian Oil Minister, DIMKA ABIMBOLA, late 60s hands a briefcase to an American Contractor, KEVIN BRADLEY, 52, who is killed when the his briefcase explodes inside his limousine. A week later, a Nigerian Drug and Law Enforcement Agents, RASAKI DAKU, 38 and WOLE AMADU, 32 arrest Hakeem at the Lagos International airport after they discover package of heroin in his luggage. His father, Minister Abimbola came to his rescue and post bail and warns him to be careful how he conducts his business.

WASHINGTON, D.C. CONGRESSMAN, JOHN ELLIS, 50s, is running for election on platform of fiscal accountability, but his campaign is running out of money and his company, Fiber Tile Corporation whom he serves as one of the board of directors on the verge of bankruptcy, so he seeks a financial help from his long time friend Minister Abimbola who is trying to swindle $100-Million dollars from the Nigerian oil revenue from the prying eyes of the Nigerian presidential candidate, BUHARI, 70s who has pledged to end corruption. So after Congressman Ellis talks on the phone with Minister Abimbola, the arrangement was made for him to wire transfer $100 million “deposit” in the bank account of Fiber Tile Corporation. No sooner has he transferred the money, Minister Abimbola heads to Washington D.C. to meet Congressman Ellis so both men can finalize the business deal. A day later, Minister Abimbola’s body was found in his Washington hotel room, killed by injection.

CIA Agent FRANK DUNCAN, 35, report to Agency Director, WILLIAM MAISON explaining to him that alleged incident about the late Minister was a sloppy piece of work. The Coroner found a needle mark on Abimbola’s neck, and recent transfer of funds point to Congressman Ellis as being involved. The President of the United States who is a good friend of Congressman orders CIA Director Maison to sweep it on the rug for the moment so that Congressman Ellis can avoid indictment and prosecution.

Vowing revenge, Hakeem travels to Washington, D.C, under the guise of “Ebenezer Chukwu”. He arrives in the company of his friend, KAYODE IYABODE, and his drug-smuggling entourage: EMEKA CHIBUZO, BAKO SALMAN, and DANJUMA USMAN, who dies when a pouch of heroin he swallowed, raptures. Usman’s death comes to attention of Drug Enforcement Agents Wallace, Perez, Bloomberg, Perkins and Lang.

Hakeem (alias “Ebenezer Chukwu”) meets with Congressman Ellis, Ostensibly for the purpose of concluding a $100-million transfer. Ellis admits being responsible for the murder of Hakeem’s

father’s, and confesses he spent all but $1-million of Minister Abimbola’s deposit to refresh his campaign coffers. Hakeem transfers that money into his own account, and then orders Kayode to decapitate Congressman Ellis. The Hakeem and two of his buddies are spotted on security camera footage fleeing the scene.

Agent Wallace and his men raid the home of JEFF, 35, a dapper, fast-talking drug dealer who is Hakeem’s contact. Under questioning, Jeff discloses the hotel room where Hakeem is staying, but the four agents find only Emeka’s “lady friend” there, stimulating herself with a vibrator. A voice recording of Hakeem telling his henchmen to pack their things was captured by Congressman Ellis’ cell phone, which is being monitored by the National Security Agency. The agents race to JFK International Airport, but Hakeem and company slip past security by posing as Ghanaian students.

The President authorizes a convert operation to Nigeria in an effort to bring Hakeem to justice. CIA Frank Duncan leads the mission, assisted by Agent Wallace and his four colleagues from the DEA. They lock horn with Lagos Police, CAPTAIN BELEWA, 35, who resents having American agents on Nigerian soil. Agents Perkins and Lang, who arrive separately, robbed by THREE AREA BOYS, teenage thugs on Hakeem’s payroll, and forced at gunpoint to strip to their underwear. The Area Boys show Hakeem the personal items they seized, including passports and DEA badge.

Agent Lang and Perkins bribe a Store bribe a STORE OWNER For the whereabouts of Hakeem’s henchmen, whom he identifies from photographs. Captured, the two agents are tortured by Hakeem, who has Perkins beheaded and a scorpion placed on Lang’s genitals. Frank enlists the help of Nigerian Agents RASAKI and WOLE. Posing as an American businessman eager to invest in Nigeria. Frank meets with Hakeem, only to be interrupted by raid orchestrated by Agent Wallace. A chase and shootout ensues inside Minister Abimbola’s mansion. Agent Wallace and Perez free Agent Lang, and the pursuit continues through a crowded marketplace, where Hakeem stabs Wole to death. Bloomberg is shot by Kayode, who in turn is killed by Rasaki. Wallace and Rasaki corner Hakeem, who is taken into custody by Captain Belewa.

Arriving at JFK International Airport, Frank and Perez hand Hakeem off to TWO U.S. MARSHALS, who later are found bound and gagged in a restroom. Hakeem, disguised as a third U.S.Marshal drives away. He remains a fugitive.
