GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Horror
LOGLINE:

After college, a young couple’s life together begins to fracture when a strange broadcast appears to personally target them, using surveillance and manipulation to unravel their privacy, their love, and their sense of self.

SYNOPSIS:

Static is a psychological horror film about Curtis and Gray, a young couple who move into a quiet duplex hoping for a fresh start. While Gray settles into a new job, Curtis spends more time at home trying to find his footing. When a strange puppet broadcast called Pogo and Friends begins appearing on their television without explanation, Curtis becomes determined to figure out where it is coming from.

What begins as a strange curiosity slowly becomes something far more disturbing. The broadcast begins reflecting details of their private lives, and small disturbances around the house suggest someone may be watching them. As Curtis digs deeper, he discovers that the show may be connected to something hidden inside the duplex itself.

Curtis’s search for answers pulls him into a dangerous game of surveillance and manipulation. The more he tries to expose whoever is behind the broadcast, the more it becomes clear that the real trap was never the show itself, but the act of watching.
