Silent movies always fascinated me, I inherited a projector from that era that my mum in law left me with silent movies of Charlie Chaplain..

When I saw this clip of little Tick and his big boots performing as dancer and a comedian on a website of Public Domain, he is best known for his seemingly gravity-defying routine accomplished by the wearing of boots with soles 28 inches I wanted to tune in some music for his performance, it is beautifully structured act of a dancer and comedy.

A NASTY little hungry birdie. nastiness full blown.

When you eat carbohydrates, proteins and fats in everything it is digested into simple sugars such as glucose and when the food is not enough or delayed late, folks do get agitated and not being civil any more , even this little birdie shows nastiness and not being well mannered towards the provider.

If your blood-glucose levels fall far enough, your brain will perceive it as a life-threatening situation. You see, your brain is critically dependent on glucose to do its job. You get angry and snap or do silly things.

The Magic Table aka Dinner under difficulties 1899 A silent era short

My fascination with silent movies,it is fun to watch them and to make it sound more appealing I graced it with music.

A Dinner Under Difficulties (French: Salle à manger fantastique) is an 1899 French short silent trick film by Georges Méliès.

The film is a simple sketch in which a man accidentally knocks over his dining table, sending his meal to the floor. The problem is solved when, by magic, the table and its contents fly in backward motion back into place.

The film features Méliès's first known use of reverse motion, a special effect probably created by cranking the camera backward and vice versa.

Hummingbirds are thought to have a long history; however, it is difficult to find out how long that history is. Good thing there are quite a few stories that help us to fill in the blanks of the history of hummingbirds.

There are many great stories in the Native American Cultures about hummingbirds, and they have a large position in many cultural belief systems, many Native American Cultures that have found ceremonial uses for hummingbirds.

The Cherokees believe that a medicine man turned himself into a hummingbird to retrieve a lost plant.

So on so forth, many tales attached to the hummingbird.

Dragons are like a giant reptile. A dragon is a reptile-like legendary creature that appears in the folklore of many cultures worldwide.

In European tradition the dragon is typically fire-breathing and tends to symbolize chaos or evil, whereas in East Asia it is usually a beneficent symbol of fertility, associated with water and the heavens.It is also a belief that the dragons always helped the ones in distress.

Famous game we all played when we were in school "Dungeons and Dragons, remember!! I remember sometimes it used to get really mystical, scared we would close the game.

Scholars believe huge extinct or migrating crocodiles bear the closest resemblance, especially when encountered in forested or swampy areas, and are most likely the template of modern Oriental dragon imagery.

Commonalities between dragons' traits are often a hybridization of feline, avian, and reptilian features.

Ghost dancing away in the nite,

Cemetery is one place folks really do not want to go at night , it is scary to most..

My papa and mama both never showed any fear of the cemeteries.

Papa used to tell us all kinds of ghost stories at bedtime and we all as kids were scared to the core but still loved to hear those tales of the folks gone by.

We used to ask him whether he would go to a cemetery at night and he would say to us that he can take his cot being an army guy to a cemetery and sleep all night with no fear but we kids never said anything like we will accompany him there. NO WAY..

All that is when we were just kids .

But this is what the astronomers said..

When we were younger and playing outside on a windy day, we would see a leaf dancing, swirling and twisting around with the movement of the wind as it blew from one side to another and we would run after it to catch it but it always went higher and we would lose it.

Peacock symbolism has great importance because it forces us to think about spirituality, freedom, self-expression, integrity, love, and pride.

Let us pray for our fallen heroes.

We pray that the strife, battles and wounds of war be calmed for eternity in God's loving grace. May you find rest at last and know that those left behind cherish your spirit, honor your commitment, send their love and will never forget your sacrifice.

Raised in an army family I can feel the pain of those heroes who did not return home, my papa did come back in one piece but some of his friends didn't.

We thank you for your sacrifice and service to our nation

your memories will live forever in our hearts.

Today we pay homage to our heroes who stood up to evil so that we can be free,

it is not a celebration, it is a day of earnest sobriety.
