Two unexpecting young adults struggle to find meaning in their love-lifes. On their seemingly futile search for happiness they might just find each other… You’ll have to wait till the end!
SYNOPSIS:
Jacqueline was your typical "Party girl". She enjoyed sleeping with any man with six-pack-abs and hair adorned with pomade, but after being proposed a "romantic rendezvous" with an absolute sleazeball; she vows to give up her life of promiscuity, and commit to someone. In the same night Phil is dumped by his girlfriend of 3 years for being "too nice" and decides he will never commit to a woman again. After setting up an eHarmony account Jacqueline goes on several terrible dates, but meets DAVID, and begins falling for him. In the meantime Phil sets up a Tinder profile, and reaps the benefits having one night stands with half the women in Dallas. But their happiness would be short lived... Jacqueline is dumped by David, and Phil is confronted by a woman he's hurt. Our protagonists revert to their old ways, Phil gets back with his ex, as a result of realizing his actions have caused a woman the same kind of pain he had felt only a few weeks before, and after discovering her parents are divorcing after 29 years if marriage; Jacqueline goes back to sleeping with random hunks and leaving before awkward morning-after pillow talk. Our protagonists are lost, and struggle to find themselves. At this point two mutual friends Theresa & Jimmy lead them back down the path they originally set out on, and even set the two of them up on a date. Phil, (Who is habitually late), ends up being 30 minutes late only to realize his best friend new he would be, and told Jacqueline to be there 30 minutes later than Phil. Our tale ends when the two lovers lock eyes, and say "Hello.".
