A widowed sales exec rediscovers her love of singing through a Karaoke App while igniting a romance with a studio exec that could jeopardize her career.

SYNOPSIS:

Widow, mother, and ace sales rep Carla King lands a massive contract with the Iichi-Kuuchi Group from Japan and finds herself responsible for setting up an important karaoke-themed event at an upcoming Tradeshow.

Meanwhile, she also finds herself attending another local karaoke event, Mic Fest, with her friend Nikki. This leads to two different men suddenly vying for Carla’s attention: the debonair studio manager Sterling, and a secret admirer.

When a Pacific hurricane threatens the upcoming events, Carla pivots to a plan to Livestream the events around the world using a new app developed by Sterling. However, Nikki soon realizes that Sterling is not as on the up-and-up as he pretends and is scheming to win the competition and its prize money for himself.

Although she takes some convincing, Carla

eventually realizes that Nikki is telling the truth about Sterling, clearing the way for her to finally connect with her secret-admirer, her co-worker, Andre.
