SYNOPSIS:

GREEN is an immigrant fairytale that has no happily ever after. Karen always dreamed of becoming a famous actress in America, but comes across a major roadblock: Immigration. Her journey to stardom forces her into a GREEN card wedding to a gay man, dealing with her quirky best friend who runs her life, and trying to get back the man that got away. Karen doesn’t fit in at home and doesn’t know where she fits in in America and slowly has to realize that the grass is always GREENer on the other side.

GREEN is about people trying to find a way to fit in, but ultimately realizing that success comes in finding a way to stand out. A bunch of misfits who come together and help each other navigate the world, using their strengths to lift each other up, and using each other’s strengths to compensate for their weaknesses. GREEN ruthlessly examines what it means for many cultures to attempt to cohabit.
