The year 2035. A washed up space shuttle pilot must save his daughter, unborn grandchild and all the world’s leaders from terrorists who have seized control of an international space station and holds the world hostage with the threat of nuclear anhilation.
SYNOPSIS:
It’s 2035. The new Space lab Vector One, a virtual city in space, is operational and in celebration, all the members of the top 13 economic world powers are meeting on it in a bid for international cooperation on environmental and economic issues. These countries include Mexico, a reunited Korea, Brazil and Siberia (which broke away from Russia) as power has realigned in various regions around the globe.
Our hero, Frank Crowell, middled aged, former astronaut and leader of the oringal Vector One project has washed out of NASA because he discovered that they were going to put weapons of mass destruction on board which of course was denied by NASA and the CIA. Not wanting to get a job as an airline pilot and feeling fucked over, Frank is now reduced to being a drunken aerial circus acrobat that does daredevil stunts at county fairs.
Frank’s daughter, Janice, is a biologist is going up on the Vector One mission. They are having difficulties because Frank is depressed over washing out of the Vector One program as well as his suicidal barnstorming and his not wanting to get a safe job with an airline. From Janice’s doctor, we also find out that she is pregnant with Frank’s grandchild… a boy.
Next, we see terrorists substitute themselves for the Vector One crew by killing their way onboard without anyone knowing. The Vector One’s shuttle heads up with its multinational load of big shots and the terrorists. Frank finds out about the terrorist’s takeover and rushes down to the launch site to try and help. They refuse to let him help even though he’s the most qualified to go up and help.
Frank decides he’s going up to save his wife despite NASA not wanting help from Frank the washout. Frank sneaks on the rescue shuttle and heads to Vector one with the space shuttle SWAT team.
The terrorist’s demands are simple; $1,000 trillion in gold bullion put on an oil tanker and sent out into the Pacific. They show they are serious and send a couple of nukes into the desert to show what they are capable of proving that nukes were indeed left on Vector One. This makes Frank is angry as he has been lied to by his government. The terrorists are ruthless and bloody.
The terrorists know every short circuit around the security system and see the rescue mission coming. They are slaughtered.
Frank, the Vector One mastermind, is the only one left alive after the terrorist kill off the rescue SWAT mission. Frank is going to save the day and rescue his daughter and unborn grand child and save the world. The terrorists track Frank onboard the space lab but Frank knows the station better than they do.
They shoot a nuke into the oil tanker carrying the gold. The tanker explodes in a nuclear mushroom, sending irradiated gold with a half-life of 500 years down to the bottom of a 35,000-foot ocean trench. Now, anyone with gold reserves is the richest country in a world starved for gold. Frank starts to turn the table on the terrorists one by bloody one.
Frank finally, finds out who is behind the terrorist mission to dominate the world’s economy through nuking the gold. This person is the one least expected to be the person of the attack. Frank pulls off the impossible, saves the world, his daughter and his unborn grandchild.
