SYNOPSIS:

Not able to get out on his own any more, Michael is thoroughly individual and (though he wouldn’t dare admit it) intensely lonely. He relies on a taxi to take him into town, but the taxi service isn’t reliable, until Ahmed enters. Ahmed is almost intrusively easy-going, and treats Michael like a friend to be made, rather than an obstacle, as most of the world sees him.

Ferried is a portrait of their friendship as it develops, Michael only learning late on how much it means to him.
